You are a multi-passionate, beautifully complex human who feels restrained by most of the personal branding advice out there.

Yes, you want to use LinkedIn to grow your business, but the idea of only creating tactical how-to posts or describing your prospects specific problems and the tangible outcomes you deliver sounds boring AF.

You bring so much more energy, experience, and life to your work. Why wouldn’t bring it to your content also?

But you struggle to tie it all together.

To create a personal platform that is as authentically varied as you, but still feels like a cohesive message.

In this video, I share my favorite framework for finding your Throughline. The theme of your content. The lens through which you look at the world and how your audience can understand you and what you’re all about.

I recorded it after a Power Your Platform member asked this question and I thought I'd share it with you too.

Remember, the Throughline is a core part of my Personal Platform Canvas, my template for crafting your personal brand strategy cheat sheet.

Once you find your throughline, the goal is to bring that theme into every piece of content you create, bringing each unique topic back to this one core message. It will mean that as people learn more about who you are, they will also better understand how you can help them.
